The high amount of corn gives this bourbon a classic sweet taste with notes of vanilla and caramel from the wood while the rye adds some light spice flavor. The aromas are packed pretty tight featuring hints of roasted corn minerals maple syrup and a sprinkling of leather. The overall flavor profile leans towards high rye like bourbon and it is good not great but surely good. The aroma is incredibly sweet and complex but the palate mouthfeel and finish are incredibly oaky dry and tannic.
