R32 Driver Door Handle Wont Open

Now the driver side door won t open from outside the car.

R32 driver door handle wont open.

Drivers door won t lock using key fob posted in performance and technical. I tested the switches in the handle it self. No where will you find this information on the web. When i go to open from the outside everything unlocks but the driver door won t open.

The drivers door won t lock using the key fob but if i use the blade it will lock fine. Open the door pull the handle and see if the mechanism moves from outside and inside. If the bolt moves but not enough to allow the door to open the. I tried taking the plastic piece off of handle and using the plastic key from the fob but it didnt work.

I am still collecting. I m thinking on the right track with the latch mechanism. If i lock then car using key fob and open the door the alarm goes off. To be fair if its a cable problem then the handle from the inside outside will just flap around.

Could also be the outside handle. Replace the door handle and problem solved or you can pull the door apart which you will have to do anyways and clean it. If nothing happens when you turn the knob it s usually because the set screw holding the knob to the rod has worked itself loose. Though that is just a temp fix it will return at the most inopportune time.

If i am inside the car it will open but nothing from the outside. This video is for when you can t open your door from either the inside or the outside not both if you can t open your door from both the inside and outside. Believe me i looked for days wh. If you need to get in just push in on the door a little and pull the handle at the same time.

Any info would be much appreciated cheers. So i think the other day that while i was unlocking my car doors i started pulling on the handle as i was unlocking the doors. If not then take the inside handle off and just pull the actual cable. Should open right up then.
